New Zealand anglers pride themselves in the knowledge that we have the finest Trout and Salmon fishery in the world today. Conservation of our fisheries has played a vital part in maintaining the quality of fishing throughout the country, not only in maintaining certain stratagies of the individual angler but also the time and effort that is put in by our regional Fish and Game Councils, and the support they recieve from each and every angler in the country, this support and effort by all involved has helped maintain our fisheries and keep our waters in pristine condition.
